A warm massaging bath, nail trimming, removal of dead hair/matting or just a simple beautifying treatment will result in extra hugs at home!
I have been grooming for over 40 years and I have enjoyed every minute! I love the job of making a dog feel better as a good grooming should.
I try to make the grooming experience as stress free as possible by getting your furry friend in and out in a couple hours and allowing free time to stroll in the shop, to play or to enjoy a treat!
Durham Location
The Black Dog Grooming Salon is located at 16 Main Street, Durham, Connecticut (previously located at 11 High Meadow Lane in Middlefield) sharing the salon with Four Your Paws Only. The Black Dog operates on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday by appointment, opening as early as 6:30am through evening. All breeds are welcome!
Griswold Location
The Black Dog Grooming Salon of Griswold, CT is located at 24 Shore Drive. This is an especially cozy salon in my home, catering to small to medium dogs up to 60 lbs. I do love (and am "mommy" to two large labs!) but due to the size of the salon I don't have space for larger breeds at this location.
